Michealle Gady (she/her) – Our newest Board Member!
Michealle found her way to Puget Soundworks as a parent. After her family relocated from North Carolina to Washington, she wanted her child to live in a community where self-expression is not something you have to defend, but something a whole room of people will sing about at full volume!

Michealle is the Founder and CEO of Atrómitos, LLC, a woman-owned consulting firm that works with nonprofits, foundations, and government agencies on policy, organizational strategy, and fund development. She holds a JD with a Certificate in Health Law from Quinnipiac University School of Law and spent the early part of her career on Capitol Hill. She brings skills in governance, fund development, strategic planning, business operations, and organizational assessment.

Michealle lives with her husband, her son, and their dog, Groot. Outside of work, she is usually in the garden. She is an unrepentant bibliophile who owns a t-shirt that explains: “That’s what I do. I read books, and I know things.” 

Jana Infanger (She/her) – Our new Chorus Manager!
Jana Infanger has had a love of singing her whole life. She started singing in children’s musicals during her early years and then moved on to singing in choirs from the age of 12, and continued her love for musical theater throughout college where she got a BA in Musical Theater from the University of Morris, Minnesota. Jana’s professional career brought her into administration, a field she worked in for over a decade, but she kept her love of music and singing alive through community theater in Minneapolis. 

In 2014 she longed for a new adventure, and moved west to Seattle. She found her chosen family with Puget Soundworks in 2019. In early 2026, Jana signed on as the Assistant Choreographer, and was hired as the Chorus Manager in August. She is thrilled to be working with Miriam and the Board to bring the chorus to new levels of excellence!

In her spare time, Jana runs her own pet sitting business.  She enjoys camping, exploring the mountains, and making sweet, sweet harmonies with her husband Allan, and their dog Cooper, who likes to howl along. 

Marketing and Communications Manager (click to open job description) 
This is a part time contract position averaging 4 hours per week. Some work can be done on a flexible schedule and may include some evenings and weekends. Most work will be done remotely. Candidates must be able to attend events in person in the Seattle area. Here are some highlights:

• Develop marketing strategies using websites, emails, social media, print media and other channels to increase brand awareness to grow the Puget Soundworks community of singers, volunteers, and patrons.
• Act as a spokesperson for the organization, with both internal and external stakeholders, including the singing community, patrons, donors, and public entities such as businesses, foundations, government agencies, and media.

Hildebrant Hall at Plymouth Congregational Church was filled with excitement on Wednesday, August 26! Puget Soundworks conducted its first rehearsal of the fall season. Led by our Artistic Director, Miriam Anderson, the group welcomed new members, reconnected with old friends, and began to work on our music for our upcoming show, “Gratitude.” We have added 32 new singers to our group, including a number of tenors and basses.

Save the dates: We will perform our three Gratitude shows on November 21-22 at On the Boards, Behnke Center for Contemporary Performance, 100 Roy Street in Seattle.  Stay tuned for upcoming promotional materials and concert ticket sales. Hope to see you there!

Puget Soundworks is growing! At our May 2022 concert, Belonging, we had 38 singers on stage. Now that we have returned to rehearsals for our November show Gratitude, we are expecting 134 singers!

We’ve got a few helping hands ready to build an additional set of riser panels. Now we need the funds. Can you help us?

The Jon Sims Endowment Fund for the Performing Arts has awarded us a grant of $900 to cover half of our materials costs. We need another $950 to purchase the remaining materials needed to complete the project.
