Dear Puget Soundworks Community,
We are in a moment of uncertainty and hardship. Music has always been a refuge—a place where we come together to find strength, hope, and connection. As we witness the turbulent state of our country and the passage of harmful executive orders that impact our communities, we want to reaffirm what we have always known to be true: You are not alone. You are seen, valued, and loved.
Puget Soundworks believes that music can be a force for change, a voice for justice, and a source of healing. We remain steadfast in our commitment to lifting up the voices of those who are marginalized, standing in solidarity with those who are struggling, and creating a space where all can find belonging.
We stand strong with our transgender, non-binary, and BIPOC family, who are too often the direct targets of harmful policies and rhetoric. You are at the heart of this community, and we will always fight for your right to live authentically and safely.
Now, more than ever, we need each other. Whether you are singing with us, sitting in our audience, or supporting from afar, know that this community is here for you. We will continue to make music that speaks to our collective resilience, and we will keep showing up—together.
